We will go to Pushkin and Pavlovsk on a one-day excursion to the imperial suburbs of St. Petersburg. My author's excursion will introduce you to the palace and park ensembles of Pushkin and Pavlovsk. Thanks to the individual format, we can always adjust our route to a convenient time and your wishes for the objects of inspection. We will go for a walk from St. Petersburg to Tsarskoye Selo, where one of the most famous and brightest suburban residences is located — the Catherine Palace, built by Rastrelli. If you wish, you will take a walk through the halls of the palace, see the Amber Room, memorable places associated with A.S. Pushkin — Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum and summer cottage, we will examine the pavilions, thematic buildings of different eras, learn their functional features. After a walk in the Catherine Park, we will go to Pavlovsk — the favorite residence of Paul I and his wife Maria Feodorovna. The landscape park is especially loved by St. Petersburg residents! We will walk along the forest paths, examining the periodically occurring sculptures and small pavilions, we will see the palace created by Charles Cameron and Vincenzo Brenna, the private garden of Empress Maria Feodorovna!
