Tyumen began in 1586 with a fortress on the high bank of the Tura. Why did a seashell appear on the facade of a Siberian wooden house? How did exiled Poles build a Catholic church in the middle of Siberia? And what reminds us of the city's first water supply system? This quest is about merchant, wooden, and Soviet Tyumen, where every carved facade has its own pattern. How it works • The bot sends a task and hints where to go next. • You look for the answer with your eyes, not in a search engine: it is hidden in carvings, a sculpture, or facade decor. • For each answer you get a short story about the place, in text and audio. If you get stuck, take a hint: it will tell you where to look but won't give away the answer.
